University Classroom Renovation
IMEG’s San Francisco structural team provided structural services for the rehabilitation of this existing 4-story, 38,000-sf. concrete building with basement. The project included adding six new classrooms at the existing level floor as well as a roof deck totaling to approximately 48,000-sf of enclosed area. This rehabilitated building is now equipped with auditorium style classrooms, labs for nursing courses, and offices. It also houses the Instructional Media Lab and the Learning and Writing Center. Cowell Hall is centrally located on the main campus of the University of San Francisco, and houses the School of Nursing and Health Professions.
