IMEG provided structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the lab and office building addition renovations and upgrades at the new Jeep Assembly Plant in Detroit, MI. The project included converting a former engine plant that had been idle since 2012, into an assembly site with production testing labs, offices, quality centers, and validation spaces.

IMEG worked with the general contractor to quickly convert the facility’s existing offices and labs over the summer so employees could return to the finished space for measuring and validating parts. The project was design-build and IMEG provided the owner with six design packages simultaneously due to the tight turnaround schedule.
