Veterans Outreach Clinic Site Plan
The Montana Veterans Health Administration contracted a team for a Design/Build Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC) in Missoula that replaced the existing David J. Thatcher VA Clinic. The new 56,700-sf clinic is nearly 300% bigger than the old facility and more easily accessible due to its new location near multiple highways.
The facility houses a variety of medical services for veterans of Missoula and the surrounding area, including primary care, women’s health, lab work, a pharmacy, sleep therapy, prosthetic services, telehealth, physical therapy, and an array of other exams and treatment spaces.
IMEG worked with Leo A Daly and PMRG on the preliminary civil site and utility designs, which included preparing meeting specifications & standards for layout to address VA facility needs for parking, ADA accessibility, pedestrian circulation requirements, and access to site amenities.
