Water and Sewer Replacement (Phase 1)
The City of Colman had been experiencing infiltration and inflow (I/I) due to aged infrastructure. IMEG assisted the City in securing grant funding and low interest loans to replace the infrastructure in the community.
The City retained IMEG for South 2nd Street Water and Sewer Replacement – Phase 1. This phase of the project included 7,587 lineal feet of 12-inch and 15-inch sanitary sewer piping, 3,914 lineal feet of six-inch watermain, asphalt surfacing, seeding, and traffic control.
IMEG designed the sanitary system to remove a lift station in order to lower the operation and maintenance costs for the City.
