Two IMEG projects are among ENR Midwest’s Best Projects for 2025. A third received a merit award.  

UW Health Eastpark Medical Center | Madison, WI 

Best Healthcare Project 

The 469,000-sf ambulatory center houses specialty practices, including UW Health’s proton therapy program, women’s complex care, advanced imaging and laboratory services, and clinical trials.  

IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology engineering design and construction administration services for the center, which opened in October 2024.

Steven & Susan Lipstein BJC Institute of Health, Washington University School of Medicine | St. Louis 

Best Higher Education/Research Project 

The $165 million project was a six-floor, 160,000-sf vertical expansion of the north tower. The facility includes a 7,400-sf Biologic Therapy Core Facility (BTCF); 100,000-sf of expanded laboratory space; and about 43,000-sf of mechanical building-support areas.   

IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design, energy modeling, and construction administration services for the project, which was completed in March 2025.

2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials Pool | Indianapolis, IN 

Sports & Entertainment 

The temporary transformation of the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium (ICCLOS) into the host of the U.S. Olympic swimming team trials received an Award of Merit. The project included building two temporary Olympic-sized pools, and space for athletes, 30,000 spectators, and organizers.  

IMEG worked with the owner and pool consultants to support the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements for two pools. Essential aspects such as the ability to fill, heat, and drain the pools within specific timeframes were vital for meeting the construction schedule.
