Two IMEG projects win ACUI Facility Design Awards
Two IMEG-designed projects earned Association of College Unions International (ACUI) 2026 Facility Design Awards.
The awards recognize excellence in the design of student-centered facilities on higher education campuses.
The Rowan University Chamberlain Student Center expansion in Glassboro, NJ, was honored in the Student Union Project between $25-55 Million category. The judges noted the architectural design was Influenced by the New Jersey Pine Barrens, creating “an agora of social and intellectual discovery” among the pines. IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services.
Lehigh University’s Clayton University Center in Bethlehem, PA, was honored in the Student Union Project Over $55 Million category.
The center, built in 1868, was renovated to blend historic character and modern amenities designed to foster student connection. IMEG provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services.
